PearceMD is proud to welcome Kate, a skilled speech language pathologist with over 12 years of experience practicing in the medical field. Her areas of interest include voice, swallowing, and cognitive disorders. She is a certified Interactive Metronome provider, as well as certified Speak Out! provider. Kate believes that the most important part of her job is helping patients and their families understand the communication or swallowing disorder they are experiencing so she can better support them in making decisions and achieving their therapy goals. Outside of work, Kate enjoys spending time with her husband and children in the great Maine outdoors.
