We are so glad you have reached out! As a value-based, not volume-based practice, we know you have made the right choice for yourself and/or your patients!

To that end, as a smaller practice, please be aware of the following items:

• Dr. Pearce and Gillian (Physician Assistant) work together as a team and co-manage patients. Their number one goal is timely patient care so depending on a number of factors, patients may see one or the other, often both, and can be assured their care is closely communicated.

• Every referral and self-referral is reviewed by our team to ensure an appropriate clinical and timely placement and this can take 1-2 business days. 

• In the rare event we are unable to see a new patient due to complexity and/or emergent nature of care needed, this will be communicated to the referral source.

• We are in network with Aetna, Taro Health, Maine Community Health Options, Traditional Medicare (as of 7/1/24) and Aetna Medicare Advantage.  We are not in network with Medicaid/Maine Care and the remaining commercial insurance carriers. We offer transparent cash-pay prices. It is the responsibility of the patient to understand their health insurance policy, including, if your insurance is in-network with our providers, have a co-pay, deductible, or require a referral. We appreciate a 24-hour cancelation notice.
